Set in dreary Passaic, New Jersey, the action revolves around Mike, who works in a video store in an age when VHS is long dead, and his friend, the trouble-making Jerry. 

 

When the video store’s owner leaves town for a trip, he entrusts its care to Mike under strict orders not to let Jerry in – and not without good reason. 

 

While he’s away, Jerry causes the store's entire stock to be erased. So in order to keep the struggling business afloat, Mike and Jerry begin remaking the films, one by one…
