Known in 60s America as part of the ‘British Invasion’, The Animals were famed for their gritty, bluesy sound exemplified by signature songs ‘The House of the Rising Sun’ and ‘We Gotta Get Out Of This Place’.

Over the years, The Animals underwent changes and the remaining members have since been joined by friends from the music business.  The current line-up consists of John Williamson, from Titanic / Creedence Clearwater Revival, John Steel from the original Animals, Mickey Gallagher from The Animals, The Clash, the Paul McCartney and Peter Frampton bands and Peter Barton from the Mindbenders.
