Based on the Isle of Skye, the Peatbog Faeries can best be described as ‘the future of Celtic dance music’.

Incorporating many influences from traditional jigs and reels through jazz, hip-hop and reggae, the Fairies perform using a dazzling mix of trad, funk, rock, electronics, brass and cavalier intention that has won them much acclaim on the folk scene.  The band have toured all over the world and won numerous awards, including ‘Best Live Act’ at the prestigious Scots Trad Music Awards.  Their inventive and unique approach always brings the true flavour of traditional Scottish music to their audiences.
