Summer Winds, a Wind Quintet from the Royal Academy of Music in London Consisting of Flute (Sally Jane Palmer), Oboe (Emily Stephens), Horn (Elliott Howley), Bassoon (Olivia Palmer-Baker) and Clarinet (Sam Gillespie) . Elliott Howley on Horn studied at The Kings School and has performed at this lovely venue on a number of occasions. Join them for an evening of exciting & varied programme of music from the 1700's to current day including works by Nielsen, Malcolm Arnold, Ligeti, Ibert, Danzi. This is the 1st of 3 concerts to be performed over the weekend in Grantham, Wymondham Windmill and St John the Baptist Church in Peterborough. Doors will open at 19.00 with music beginning at 19.30, there will be an interval and 2 halves of about 40 minutes each. Refreshments will be available before concert and during the interval.
