Volunteering at the Guildhall

  • Are you interested in the theatre?
  • Would you like to see theatre shows free of charge?
  • Do you enjoy meeting members of the public?

If the answer to all these questions is yes, why not join the Guildhall Team as a Volunteer!

Our existing team of volunteers are a brilliant group of individuals who deliver excellent customer service and are all passionate about supporting the Guildhall and the work we do. Volunteering is not just about helping the Guildhall thrive, but also contributing to the local community.

See about being a Theatre Usher or Technical Volunteer!

The Guildhall Arts Centre Theatre could not operate without a dedicated and committed team of volunteers.

Our technical volunteer work involves followspot operation and backstage crew with further opportunities for stage management tasks.

For those applying for technical courses at drama college, evidence of involvement in productions outside of the college or school environment like this is a useful addition to a CV.

No previous knowledge is necessarily required.
