A summer spectacular with live music, Spitfire air display, historic mounted cavalry, the Red Devils Army Parachute Team, 200 live cannons and breath-taking fireworks! Pack a picnic, chill the fizz and join us for the 19th annual Battle Proms Concert.
The uplifting programme of well-known classics from The New English Concert Orchestra includes Elgar’s stirring Nimrod and Tchaikovsky’s famous 1812 Overture with live cannon fire, alongside iconic modern pieces such as The Downton Abbey Theme and The Dam Busters March. Then of course the sing-along finale is packed with all the traditional ‘last night of the proms’ favourites with dazzling firework displays; it’s an unforgettable evening!
