Calling amateur photographers, artists and graphic designers!
As part of marking what would have Margaret Thatcher's 100th birthday, SKDC and Union Street Gallery are running 'Design a Grantham Postcard'’, where your artistic vision will be on display as part of an Exhibtion at the Gallery.
All entries will be displayed as part of an exhibition from Monday 1st October – Mid November as part of the week of events and activites marking the Centenary of Thatcher.
Your postcards can be on any theme related to Grantham, whether it’s History, architecture, events or people, it’s up to you!
Postcards can be designed in any medium – a scenic photograph, painting or watercolour, or digitally designed.
They should be in standard postcard size 148mm x 105mm (A6).
As part of the exhibtion, please use this design template which includes a small form to fill in.
Your design can handed in to Union Street Gallery, anytime between Monday 22nd September and 31st October to feature as part of a bigger exhibition. Click here for more information!
From October 1st - 31st October, you can pick up a paper copy of the template, or stay at the Gallery at the community table to complete your deisgn there!.
