NODA award-winning Grantham Operatic Society is delighted to present the much-loved musical My Fair Lady as part of the Society’s very special 70th anniversary celebrations.

Based on George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion, My Fair Lady tells the story of Eliza Doolittle, a spirited Covent Garden flower seller whose life changes when she meets the formidable Professor Henry Higgins. Determined to transform her speech and manners, Higgins sets out to pass Eliza off as a lady—but soon discovers that his pupil has a mind and strength all of her own.

Featuring an unforgettable score packed with classic songs, including “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly?”, “With a Little Bit of Luck”, “The Rain in Spain”, “I Could Have Danced All Night” and “Get Me to the Church on Time”, this spectacular anniversary production promises wonderful music, colourful characters, sparkling humour and plenty of heart.
