Chantry Origins Youth Company present a stunning evening of contemporary and ballet work. The young people who make up this talented company include dancers from Grantham as well as all over the UK.

Since its formation, the Origins Company has been selected to perform at the prestigious national event, MOVE IT, and are thrilled now to perform in their inaugural Showcase.

The evening’s main feature is a performance of ‘The Imprisoned Moon’ choreographed by award-winning producers and choreographers Rae Piper and Paul Chantry. This piece was originally created for the professional company Chantry Dance in 2021 and has now been adapted for a youth edition performance. The showcase includes other work from Origins and a special guest performance from the professional dancers of Chantry Dance.

Origins Youth Company is part of Chantry School, which is the official school of Chantry Dance, and is proud to showcase the dance artists of the future.
