Deputy Chief Constable Chris Davison

Chris has served with Lincolnshire Police for 29 years and is currently Deputy Chief Constable. Born and raised in Grantham, he began his policing journey as a Lincolnshire Police Cadet before joining the force as a police officer in 1997 and progressing through a variety of operational and senior leadership roles.

Chris's family connection to policing in Lincolnshire stretches back more than a century. His great-grandfather served as both a Police Constable and Detective Constable in Grantham from 1918 to 1945, continuing the proud tradition of local policing in the years following the pioneering service of Edith Smith. His uncle served with Lincolnshire Police as a Constable, and his aunt served as a member of Police Staff.
