GRAB are back in another swinging extravaganza of big band tunes, this time with a very special guest artist.
GRAB is Grantham’s own big band. This energetic and highly accomplished ensemble will get the theatre jumping with their mix of classic and modern big band tunes. As a group of highly skilled musicians, the band has gone from strength to strength and always delivers a fun show, full of storming tunes, smiles and laughs.
As well as the band’s featured vocalists, Craig Martini and Becca Faye, GRAB will be joined by American jazz star, Greg Abate, kicking off his UK tour. Greg played sax for the Ray Charles and Artie Shaw bands and has recorded and performed with greats such as Phil Woods, Kenny Barron and Kenny Washington.
