The virtuoso company have been entertaining audiences for many years with their inventive interpretations of familiar texts. Previous productions have included, Great Expectations, Jane Eyre, Tess of the D’Urbervilles, Wuthering Heights, David Copperfield and Les Misérables, as well as Jane Austen’s Persuasion and Emma.
The beloved classic novel ‘Little Women’ by Louisa May Alcott is the next novel to be given a Hotbuckle make-over in a new adaptation by Adrian Preater. Written in 1868, it has received several movie adaptations as well as television series, plays, radio dramas and musicals. One of the most iconic American novels ever written, it continues to be a source of inspiration due to the exploration of girlhood, family and female ambition.

Their journey from adolescence to adulthood is navigated through skillful characterisation and imaginative staging, as Hotbuckle explore family, love, loss and the challenges of growing up. With a touch of the highly acclaimed Hotbuckle humour and fast-paced storytelling, 19th Century Massachusetts will be brought to life as you’ve never experienced before!
