Dance J Company was founded in 2015 by local dancer Jamie Jessop. His idea; to bring various dance schools together to celebrate the art of dance whilst also raising money for various charities in England and Ireland.

Following two years of pandemic, Jamie has decided this year to support local Grantham Mental Health Charity, Place2be by organising a revival of the local dance scene. His other aim to promote dance as a great hobby which can help alleviate feelings of isolation and low mood.

This variety dance show will be headlined by Dance J Company, made up of Jamie and eight other street and hip-hop dancers, who have been members of top UK Street Dance Crews, and Westend performers. Most of the dancers are from London and will be showcasing their hip hop and street dance routines flips, tricks and more. Prepare to be wowed.

Also preforming will be dance crews from local dance schools in Grantham including such as… Star Academy, Beth Cresswell School Of Dance, Stamford Welland School Of Dancing. + Local Cheerleading Group LCA Falcons and solo singers / duo acts in the talented mix!

This show is promised to lift your vibe and get you grooving in your seat.

A raffle will be held on the night and all proceeds will go to Place2Be. There are great prizes to be won, all donated by local businesses.
