Chantry Origins Youth Company present a stunning evening of contemporary, ballet and modern dance. The young people who make up this talented company include dancers from Grantham as well as all over the UK.

The evening’s main feature is a performance of ‘Summer in Penny Lane’ choreographed by award-winning producers and choreographers Rae Piper and Paul Chantry, and choreographer Megan Woodfield. ‘Summer in Penny Lane’ follows the friendships, hardships and adventures of a group of people living on Penny Lane during one summer.

The showcase also includes the MOVE IT piece ‘La Llorona’ and self-choreographed works by the Origins dancers.

Origins Youth Company is part of Chantry School, which is the official school of the professional company Chantry Dance, and is proud to showcase the dance artists of the future.
